In the traditions of storytelling, experimental performance, and group therapy comes You Might Not Be Crazy by Kevin Broccoli. Kevin Broccoli is a local playwright, whose last work was the short piece "Aversion Therapy" performed as part of the Fledgling Festival at Perishable Theatre. An examination of what it means to be-or not to be-losing one's mind, You Might Not Be Crazy is being performed at Perishable Theater November 19th-22nd and at The Artists' Exchange November 28th-29th. Over the course of two weekends, over thirty local performers will take on characters grappling with what it means to be crazy, to be out of control, to be irrational, and to suggest that perhaps they're normal and the world around them is what needs to be put under the magnifying glass. A unique piece of theater that will shift and adapt every night, much like a changing mind, You Might Not Be Crazy has something for everyone. Kevin Broccoli (Playwright/Director) writes monologues and stories specifically for performers. Recent projects include Aversion Therapy, or Watching Two Boys Kiss, The Dirty Work, Everything's Possible, and Whatever It Takes. Mr. Broccoli is also a producer and performer who recently produced and directed the Rhode Island Premiere of The Coast of Utopia: Part One-Voyage by Tom Stoppard, and co-produced the Rhode Island premiere of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis. He is currently living and working in Rhode Island.
