Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensemble Concert

The concert will include the RIPYWE Senior Division under the direction of DAVID MARTINS performing James Curnow’s The Spirit Soars, Ralph Vaughn Williams’ The Lowlands of Scotland, arr. Larry Daehn, Robert W. Smith’s To Dance in the Secret Garden and Brian Balmages’ The Awakening. The concert will also feature the Rhode Island College Wind Ensemble under the direction of ROBERT FRANZBLAU and the RIPYWE Junior Division under the direction of MARK BLANCHETTE.
TICKETS FOR THIS CONCERT are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens and will be available in advance at the Philharmonic Box Office 401.248.7000 and at the door on the night of the performance.
RIPYWE provides quality wind ensemble rehearsal and performance experience for talented young musicians from Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts.
