KRS-One, born Kristopher Parker, has been a major player in the world of hip-hop for over 25 years. Aside from his many accomplishments as a hip-hop artist, he was also the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 for his efforts towards the Stop the Violence Movement.
