Cinderella

Cinderella is a glam rock band formed in Philadelphia, PA in 1982. They were extremely popular in the 1980s, receiving a lot of attention from MTV. The band had three platinum-selling albums, but by the mid-90s they saw their sales and success greatly drop off. They went into hiatus in the mid-90s before returning at the end of the decade. The band continues to tour and play their classic music, although they haven't released a new CD since 1994.

The band released their first album "Night Songs" in 1986 on Mercury Records. It peaked on the US Billboard 200 at #3 and was eventually certified triple platinum. They're 2nd album, "Long Cold Winter," released in 1988 was also certified triple platinum. They're last major hit album came in 1990 - "Heartbreak Station" - was certified platinum.
