Chevelle is a rock band formed in 1995 in Grayslake, IL. The band was initially comprised of three brothers Pete Loeffler (guitar/lead vocals), Sam Loeffler (drummer), and Joe Loeffler (bass/backing vocals. In 2002, they released their first album on the label "Wonder What's Next." The album was met with rave reviews, reaching #14 on the US Billboard 200, and eventually reaching platinum certification in the United States. The band has subsequently released "This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)" in 2004 (#8 on the US Billboard 200 and certified gold in the United States), "Vena Sera" in 2007 (#12 on the US Billboard 200), and "Sci-Fi Crimes" in 2009 (#6 on the US Billboard 200).
