Bristol Fourth of July Festivities

Events July 2-4 featuring concerts, drum and bugle competition July 3, Bristol Harbor fireworks display July 3 at 9:40 pm and the 224th annual Military, Civic and Firemen’s Parade July 4 which steps off at 10:30 a.m. at Chestnut and Hope streets and ends on High Street.

Thu, July 2. Patterson/Smith Trio, 6:30 pm, and Bellevue Cadillac, 7:45 pm. Colt Memorial School, Hope Street. Free.

Fri, July 3. Bristol County Interfaith Choir, 6:30 pm, and Kings Row, 8 pm. Memorial School, Hope Street. Free.

Fri, July 3. 2009 Drum & Bugle Corps Competition (Summer Music Preview), Mt. Hope High School, 199 Chestnut St. 7 pm. Rain or shine. Ticket booth opens at 4 pm, gates open at 5 pm. Reserved bleacher seats $20, $25; lawn seating $10 or four for $35 (bring blankets).
